Mike & Mike's Desserts Bumper Ad
I was commissioned to create a short bumper advert for a dessert company. They wanted a simple, communicative advert that showcased their 'handmade' style, and was influenced by their original logo design, with simple linework accented by splashes of colour.
Additionally, the sound design was very important, with a simple guitar led soundtrack and supportive sfx reinforcing the comforting and welcoming message.
The animation had to convey a lot of information in a short time, this one-scene story, which was refined during storyboarding managed to introduce the concept, two characters, and the company logo in just 6 seconds.
